AION has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. AION is committed to protecting your privacy and appreciate your trust to handle your personal information carefully and sensibly.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
AION collects your personal information to allow it to perform its business functions and used to identify you personally. For example, AION will collect your personal information to enable you to make secure bookings and transactions and or to allow AION to market its current and future products and services to you. AION may collect this information through various forms and in various places through the Services, including account registration forms, contact us forms, or when you otherwise interact with us. When you sign up to use the Services, you create a user profile. And the required data is:
– your name; mobile number; email address
– pickup and destination locations
– payment details (e.g. credit card number, expiration date and security code).
– your photo (view by AION, chauffeurs or partners to identify)
If necessary, AION may also ask you to provide it with additional personal information from time to time. Importantly, AION does not collect any personal information it does not need to perform a business function, and generally it will not collect any information about you without your prior consent. If you can’t, or won’t, provide AION with the personal information it reasonably requires, AION may be unable to provide you with the services you have requested.
AION tries to collect personal information directly from you. That collection generally occurs when you request AION services (such as rides) from the Application or a website operated by AION. Or when you access or request information from AION’s application or website. And also when you provide information to AION’s customer service call centre.
COLLECTION OF INFORMATION THROUGH ANALYTICAL TOOLS
AION also collect personal information if you provide it to us via e-mail or other means. We may collect information that identifies you personally when you send us comments, questions or suggestions. AION also automatically receive certain types of information whenever you interact with us or use application or our Site. For example, our systems may automatically collect your IP address and the type of browser or operating system you use. AION use this information to analyze, evaluate, monitor and to continuously improve the use of AION Tools, and for technical administration.
In addition, tracking information is collected through mobile device as you navigate through our Services, including, but not limited to geographic areas. If you are traveling in a vehicle requested via our Services, the driver’s mobile phone will send your GPS coordinates, during the ride, to our servers. Most GPS enabled mobile devices can define one’s location to within 50 feet. We collect this information for various purposes – including to determine the charge for the transportation you requested via our Services, to provide you with customer support, to send you promotions and offers, to enhance our Services, and for our internal business purposes.
The AION application and website use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your device by a web server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your device.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize AION pages, or register with AION site or services, a cookie helps AION to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same AION website or application, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the AION features that you customized.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Usually operating software automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your devices setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the AION applications and services.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND WIDGETS
USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
AION collects and uses your personal information to operate the AION Application or the website and deliver the services you have requested. AION also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from AION and its affiliates. AION may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered.
AION uses your personal information for purposes including (but not limited to):
– providing you with the AION services you request;
– promoting and marketing AION current and future products and services to you;
– informing you of upcoming events, special promotions and offers, discounts and other matters which AION considers may be of interest to you;
– conducting research (including but not limited to client surveys) concerning AION’s current and future products or services; and
– to improve the operation or navigation of AION’s application and/or website.
If AION uses your personal information for direct marketing purposes, all correspondence sent to you by AION will give you the opportunity to “opt out” of receiving any further direct marketing correspondence.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
In providing you the information and services you request, AION may be required to disclose your personal information to:
– AION’s consultants, contractors and service providers to perform services, credit reporting, mail-house, transport. Other than those third parties referred to above,
– AION may disclose your personal information to financial institute to process the financial transactions.
– AION will not disclose your personal information to any other third party unless it has reasonable grounds to believe: – you have authorized AION to do so;
– your safety, or the safety of others in the community, is at risk; or
– If AION is required or permitted by law to do so.
If AION provides your personal information to a third party, AION generally requires the third party to protect your personal information in the same way AION does.
AION does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. AION does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.
RECOMMENDATION OF SERVICES
Incase if you want to use AION recommendation service to tell a friend about AION Services, AION will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. The system will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting your friend’s to visit the Services. AION store this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. When you use recommendation functionality through our Services, your e-mail address may be included in the e-mail sent to your friend.
INFORMATION OF PARTNERS/DRIVERS
Incase if you wish to become Partners/Drivers, AION will collect Organization, Company or Personal Information such as your name, Company name, email address, phone number and may collect additional information such as resume, gender, and your ethnicity. AION use this information to determine your credential, qualifications for the position in which you have applied and to contact you to set up a meeting.
THE SERVICE PROVIDERS AND SUPPORTERS
AION use a third party hosting provider who hosts our website and AION use third party companies to deliver or achieve certain phases of the Services; such as partners, drivers and companies they work for to provide geo-location information to host the Applications, design or operate the Services’ features, track the Services’ process payments, record data, analytics, provide customer support.
CORRECTION, ACCESS AND DELETION OF INFORMATION
The accuracy of your personal information is important. AION takes reasonable steps to ensure personal information it holds about you is accurate, complete, up-to-date, relevant and not misleading.
You have a right to access your personal information, which holds by AION. While there is no fee for requesting access to the personal information AION holds about you, AION reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for the preparation and provision of that information to you. And you also have a right to delete your personal information from AION database.
You may contact AION to correct, access or delete details of your personal information by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. AION can deny your request in some circumstances.
CONFIDANCEY AND SECURITIES
The Personal Information and Usage Information AION collect is securely stored within the databases, and AION use standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information, such as any portions of your credit card number which we retain (AION do not retain your entire credit card information) and Geo-location information. However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. AION cannot guarantee the security of the databases, nor can AION guarantee that information you supply won’t be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet or wireless communication, and any information you transmit to AION you do at your own risk. AION recommend that you not disclose your password to anyone.
